Jack White + Baseball = Meme Magic
The great memes usually happen organically, but Jack White fans should band together and really try to make this one happen.
White’s baseball fandom is no secret at this point, but those watching the Minnesota Twins host the New York Mets last night (July 16) at Target Field still freaked out anyway, and took to Twitter to discuss a shot of White sitting behind home plate. Minnesota Public Radio blog The Current noted, “Minnesota absolutely lost it…the game, as well as our collective mind.”
The Current wasn’t exaggerating.

Perhaps it’s the perfect storm of the still, the caption and the caption’s relatable message, but this needs to become “The New Jack White Baseball Meme.” Its potential for use is seemingly endless! Plus, White might prefer it to this infamous image from a Chicago Cubs game.
