Shinedown’s Brent Smith Shares Vocal Warm-Up Routine
Shinedown’s Brent Smith has one of rock’s most dynamic voices, so it should come as no surprise that an instrument like that needs a proper warm-up before a show.
For curious fans, Smith pulled the curtain back on what he does to prep for a show ever night in the video below. Some vocal exercises might sound familiar if you’ve heard other singers do vocal warm-ups before, but it’s always interesting to find out what strange noises help singers keep their vocal cords in shape so they can continue to entertain us every single night.
Shinedown is currently on tour with Badflower, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Broken Hands. A list of their upcoming tour dates can be found at Shinedown.com.
