Beatles, Rolling Stones Top Billboard’s 125 Greatest Artists of All Time List

Billboard is celebrating its 125th anniversary, so the publication released a list of the greatest artists of all time, and The Beatles and The Rolling Stones come in at one and two, respectively.

The list was determined based on each artists' history on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 album chart. Based on that data, Billboard's top ten greatest artists of all time are:

1. The Beatles
2. The Rolling Stones
3. Elton John
4. Mariah Carey
5. Madonna
6. Barbra Streisand
7. Michael Jackson
8. Taylor Swift
9. Stevie Wonder
10. Chicago
