We lost the amazing Freddie Mercury on this day- 11/24 in 1991. I was on the air when the news came in and I knew music would never quite be the same. Some call him (me being SOME) the greatest front man that ever lived.  If you saw him live, you were forever changed and there is no doubt that Freddie is as powerful today as ever. Perhaps even more so as the biggest question that burns is “what would he have done if her were still here”?

There isn’t a day that goes by without a Queen request coming in to the “WDHA All Request Lunch Hour”. The most requested? Ahhhh, hard to say but “Tie Your Mother Down”, “We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions”, “Dragon Attack”, and always “Bohemian Rhapsody” top the list.

Some of Freddie’s great moments? They were ALL great. Every single one.
