Ozzy Osbourne Will Return to Touring if ‘Well Enough’
Ozzy Osbourne was in the middle of his “No More Tours 2” farewell tour when he suffered a number of health setbacks, including being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, but The Prince of Darkness is battling all of those obstacles in the hopes of touring again.
Osbourne was interviewed on the red carpet by CBS as he was heading into the 62nd GRAMMY Awards last night (January 27) and he said (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), “This last year has been hell for me. I’ve had surgery on my neck. I’ve announced to the world that I’ve got Parkinson’s. It’s been one rock ‘n’ roll year for me…If I’m well enough, I’ll work towards [touring again.] I’m having physical therapy every day, five days a week. I’m trying, doing the best I can. Neck surgery’s not easy.”
Osbourne is currently slated to return to touring with the U.S. leg of the “No More Tours 2” on May 27 in Atlanta. As of publishing, there has been no change to these plans.
