A massive earthquake has just struck the south of Cuba and the northwest of Jamaica,  ABC News has reported. With a magnitude of 7.7, this goes on record as the highest magnitude earthquake that the islands have ever recorded.

Since the earthquake, the US Tsunami Warning Centers has issued a warning in both Jamaica and Cuba, but also in the Cayman Islands, which was also affected by the quake. Dr. Stenette Davis, a Cayman Island resident, explains that the force was so strong that she saw a manhole cover blow away, resulting in sewage exploding all over the street. Per Metro, the disaster was also felt in parts of Miami.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries or deaths.

Many are going to Twitter and social media to post videos and pictures of the disaster.
