Talking Baseball with Seton Hall’s Rob Sheppard
Rob Sheppard is about to enter his 17th season as head coach of the Seton Hall Pirates. With the Pirates headed to Wake Forest this Friday for the 2020 season opener, he is just 24 victories away from the 500-win plateau with his alma mater where he played under his father, the legendary Mike Sheppard Sr from 1989-1992.
With MLB pitchers and catchers reporting this week, Jim Monaghan and John Hodorovych took the Morning Jolt on the road to Seton Hall University to chat with Rob about the Pirates’ upcoming season, the upgrade of the SHU baseball facilities, and an upcoming tribute to his dad.
