Group of New Jersey Girl Dads Deliver Unforgettable Cheer Routine
The fathers of the Linden-Boro Chargers Cheerleading program came together to perform an unforgettable cheer routine at their daughters’ competition Sunday night (March 1).
The group of Girl Dads known as The Daddy Bolts made their debut at Timber Creek Regional High School in Sicklerville, New Jersey. TODAY revealed that it took six practices for the guys to nail down their dance moves, cartwheels and more.
“We have one thing in common,” dad Eric Easter told NBC News. “We all have daughters who are very competitive with their cheer. So we just are doing everything we can to show them that we want to be involved in their lives.”
The cheerleaders watched from the sideline and to say their fathers enjoyed it would be an understatement. The idea of forming a team of their own apparently was suggested to them by a cheerleading coach.
