President Trump Bans Travel From Europe For 30 Days
Earlier tonight (March 11), President Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office. In his brief address, he said that he was taking “strong but necessary” action against the coronavirus. He said that he would be suspending all travel from Europe for 30 days, beginning this Friday, but said that the restrictions do not apply to Britain. He did not explain the exception. The U.K. has had nearly 400 cases of coronavirus, according to the BBC.
President Trump also said that health insurance companies have agreed to waive all co-payments for coronavirus treatments and that they would extend insurance coverage to cover coronavirus treatments.
