Earlier this week, a TODAY show producer was diagnosed with having the coronavirus, which caused Al Roker to make the choice to self-isolate at home. It’s not stopping him from working, though. He is now delivering the weather on his iPad, from his kitchen.

This is my #studiokitchen so I stay away from folks being cautious after brief contact with a @todayshow staffer. No @nbcnews staff are with me #staystrong #stayathomechallenge #withyoutoday

According to TODAY, Roker will be self-isolating for 15 days. Roker did reveal that because he didn’t have to commute, he was able to sleep in. When his co-worker, Savannah Guthrie, asked how casual he’s being since he’s working from his kitchen, Al explains, “Yes, I’m wearing pants for God’s sakes!” he also adds. “But they’re stretchy pants.”

Al’s co-host Craig Melvin has also decided to stay home from TODAY.
