National Doctors’ Day: Thanking Those On The Front Lines
Today (March 30) we celebrate National Doctors’ Day for all of the men and women on the front lines day in and day out. The national holiday is set each year to honor the professionals for their dedication and contributions to society.

The first Doctors’ Day observance was held on March 30, 1933 in Winder, Georgia and has been honored every year since. Today we give thanks to all doctors from around the world mastering their field of expertise.
As the world continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all healthcare workers who are risking their personal health and safety to save others at this time.
Due to social distancing guidelines around the country there are several things you can do today to thank a doctor. Let them know you are thinking of them by doing something as simple as sending a text, e-mail, or sharing a social media post with #NationalDoctorsDay.
Today is #NationalDoctorsDay.

In times of crisis, like right now, doctors sacrifice their own health to provide care for people they've never met before.
Their selflessness saves lives while reminding us that our nation is at its best when we all look out for one another.
To each and every doctor putting his or her life at risk to save the lives of others, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

You make New York proud.#NationalDoctorsDay
Today is #NationalDoctorsDay but rather than just celebrating the #Doctors, during this time of #COVID19 uncertainty let’s celebrate all #heroes who keep our healthcare system going-nurses/APPs, lab techs, dietary, environmental services, phlebotomy, custodial staff, & others.
