89-Year-Old Sews 600 Masks While Listening To The Beatles
Grandma Terry has been on a sewing frenzy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
When the social distancing lock-down was put into practice she immediately whipped out her sewing machine while playing The Beatles.
She started out by personalizing masks for family and friends in Chicago, Illinois using fabric featuring their favorite sports teams. Terry has also mailed masks to Wisconsin, Florida, Minnesota, California, and beyond.
The 89-year-old has since made 600 masks with the help of her fellow nursing home residents. Click below to watch Terry sewing away with The Beatles playing in the background.
