COVID-19 is not about to stop a Morris County Fourth of July tradition — it’s just going to make it a virtual celebration for one year.

The Morris County Tourism Bureau, the Morristown National Historical Park, Washington Association of New Jersey, and partners intend to celebrate America’s birthday in Morris County with a unique version of the annual Revolutionary Times events.

It will feature some colorful history of the Declaration of Independence, including the annual reading by costumed rangers Eric Olsen and Tom Winslow, of Morristown National Historical Park.

Residents will be able to view the program on Morristown National Historical Park’s Facebook page beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th. To view the event, visit
