‘Almost Famous’ Cast Reuniting for 20th Anniversary Podcast

The cast of the Cameron Crowe film is reuniting for a five-part podcast called Origins: Almost Famous Turns Twenty in honor of the film’s 20th anniversary via Cadence13’s Origins podcast series.
All of the biggest stars from the film will be participating including Kate Hudson, Frances McDormand, Billy Crudup, Patrick Fugit, Jason Lee, Zooey Deschanel and Jimmy Fallon.
Crowe will also be taking part in the podcast as well as Peter Frampton, who was a technical consultant on Almost Famous, and Nancy Wilson, who co-wrote the songs performed by the fictional band Stillwater. Pennie Trumbull, who was the inspiration for the Penny Lane character played by Hudson, will also be participating.
All five parts of Origins: Almost Famous Turns Twenty will be available on July 8 on all major podcast platforms.
