New Jersey Salons, Outdoor Pools, And More Reopen As Part Of Stage 2 Recovery
It is a big day for New Jersey residents.
Governor Phil Murphy has signed an executive order allowing outdoor pools, beauty salons, barber shops, nail salons, tattoo parlors, among other businesses to open today (June 22).
“We’re able to confidently announce this important step in our restart and recovery because the health metrics tell us we can,” Murphy said in a press statement. “With the proper health and safety protocols in place, personal care business owners who are anxious get back to serving their customers and communities will have the opportunity to do so.”
Murphy’s next COVID-19 briefing is today at 2:30 p.m. ET.
