Three passengers have been arrested after attacking a Spirit Airlines employee. In the viral video, the girls are throwing water bottles, shoes, and bags of food at employees and the television screens. They then all rush the attendant and begin swinging at her.
According to a local news source, Local 10, the reason for this whole incident: Because their flight was delayed.
In a statement from Spirit, they address the incident that happened in Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida. They state, "Three guests became combative following a delayed flight, and they were arrested for physically assaulting our Team Members. Three of our Team Members sustained minor injuries."
They add, "This violent behavior is completely unacceptable and has absolutely no place in airports or any other place of business. We will not tolerate abusive behavior of any kind."
All three women were bonded out on Wednesday. Watch the video of the incident below.
