Governor Murphy has declared a State of Emergency across all 21 counties in New Jersey in response to Hurricane Isaias effective at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4.
Residents should pay attention to local forecasts, warnings, and watches. No one should be on the roads unless absolutely necessary and all state offices will be closed.
“Hurricane Isaias is expected to impact the state with severe weather conditions, including strong winds and heavy rainfall,” said Murphy in a press statement. “The safety of our residents is our main priority, and we urge everyone to be informed of local weather conditions and to stay off the roads.”
