Rush fans- today Neil would have been 68. We lost him on January 7 2020 (which was the start of a year that changed us all forever) and what a shock it was. Dignified, private and introverted, Neil succumbed to brain cancer that he had fought valiantly for three years.

For us Rush fanatics, we accepted their R40 farewell tour, but always hoped we would get to see him drum again. Come on....no band "really retires"! But, alas...not to be.

There is really no way to "pick the best" of anything when it comes to such exceptional talent- .but some amazing solos- from speaking to Rush fans for as long as I have....are as follows....Enjoy- Terrie Carr
