VIDEO: Metallica Virtually Plays National Anthem Before SF Giants Game

Metallica has been a fixture at San Francisco Giants baseball games for the past number of years, and that’s not stopped even during a pandemic.

James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett kicked off yesterday’s game between the Giants and the Colorado Rockies with a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” from Metallica’s HQ.

Check out the performance in all its patriotic glory below. Afterward, take solace in knowing that somewhere, Jimi Hendrix is smiling.
