‘South Park’ Characters Sit In Stands at Denver Broncos Game
South Park helped fill the stands at yesterday’s Denver Broncos game against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Per CNN, a total of 1,800 cardboard cutouts of characters from the long-running Comedy Central animated series filled an endzone seating section at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. South Park, of course, takes place in a fictional Colorado town, hence, their appearance at the Broncos game.
The South Park Twitter account even shared a supercut of all the cutouts being placed in their seat which was appropriately captions, “Come on down to Denver and meet some friends of mine.”

Besides being a cool thing to see in the stands, the South Park cutouts helped raise $18,000 for charity. CBS Denver reports the Broncos have been raising money some of the team’s favorite charities by having fans pay $100 to have a cardboard cutout of themselves sit in the stands. So far, the initiative has raised $130,000.
