MLB umpire John Hirschbeck on the Jolt
John Hirschbeck worked as a Major League umpire from 1984 until his retirement in 2016, with All-Star games and a ton of post-season contests as well including five World Series.
He has teamed up with Brandon Steiner to auction off baseball memorabilia to benefit the Magic of Michael Foundation in honor of his two sons who died from adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).
John called into the WDHA Morning Jolt and spoke with Jim and JoHo about the 2020 World Series, some of his favorite moments umpiring MLB games, and the Magic of Michael Foundation charity auction.
