Dodger's player Justin Turner is the talk of the internet right now, and not because the Dodgers won the World Series.
Per CNN, the star player was pulled in the middle of yesterday's game six after testing positive for Covid-19. They state, "Turner is the first MLB player to test positive for Covid-19 since the league put all teams involved in the postseason into bubbles, held at neutral stadiums to reduce travel and the potential to spread the virus."
Then, after the Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays, Justin Turner came back on the field to celebrate with his team. He can be seen holding the trophy, hugging teammates, and not social distancing. At one point, you can even see him huddle up with his teammates for a group photo, and during, he removes his mask.
Before going back on the field, Justin tweeted out, "Thanks to everyone reaching out! I feel great, no symptoms at all. Just experienced every emotion you can possibly imagine. Can’t believe I couldn’t be out there to celebrate with my guys! So proud of this team & unbelievably happy for the City of LA #WorldSerieChamps."
Of course, he is getting a lot of attention on social media about returning to the field.
