What Even Are These Rock Grammy Nominations?!
The Recording Academy announced the 63rd Annual Grammy Nominations today (November 24.) Similar to this year's American Music Awards, there appears to be a massive disconnect between the Recording Academy and radio’s definition of rock.
The rock Grammy categories are listed below, so you can judge for yourself.
The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards will air on January 31 at 8 PM ET on CBS and be hosted by Trevor Noah. Can’t wait to see what token rock act they drag out this year! Whoever it is, hopefully their performance won’t be as sonically wonky and disorganized as last year's rock representation of Aerosmith featuring Run-DMC.
