Dave Bautista visit’s 'The IMDb Show' on February 21, 2020 in Santa Monica, California. This episode of 'The IMDb Show' airs on March 5, 2020.

From filmmaker Zack Snyder, known for 300, Watchmen, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, brings us a new action-horror film called Army of the Dead.

The trailer released today is set to Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler.” The film stars Dave Bautista as Scott Ward, a former zombie war hero who’s now flipping burgers on the outskirts of the town he now calls home. He is tasked with leading a ragtag group of zombie fighters to go steal a fortune from a vault under a post-apocalyptic Vegas strip for casino boss Bly Tanaka, played by Hiroyuki Sanada.

Sin City has now been overrun by the undead, and Ward’s zombie-fighting group only have 32 hours to break into the zombie-infested quarantine zone to retrieve $200 million sitting in a vault beneath the strip before the city is nuked by the government. On top of the ticking clock and a notoriously impenetrable vault, Ward’s crew is up against a smarter, faster horde of Alpha zombies closing in. There is even a zombie tiger and zombie Elvis impersonator, because why not.

Batista and Sanada are joined by Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Michael Cassidy, Richard Cetrone, and Garret Dillahunt.

Army of the Dead marks Snyder’s return to zombie material following his breakout feature, 2004’s Dawn of the Dead.

Army of the Dead will drop on Netflix on May 21.
