Morris Plains Memorial Day Parade To Be Held May 29
The Memorial Day parade in Morris Plains is set to return on Saturday, May 29.
Mayor Jason Karr, a member of the parade committee, recently confirmed the news to Morristown Green. Masks and social distancing will be required in 2021 as the state continues to reopen.
The parade which was established 35 years ago, will also be available to watch via livestream with the traditional morning wreath-laying for all to see.
“The committee certainly felt strongly about honoring our veterans, since we didn’t do it last year. We had to go forward this year with something,” Karr told Morristown Green.
