TC here and I have always loved Tommy Shaw! From my early Styx discovery to his solo career to Shaw/Blades to the awesome Damn Yankees, Tommy is one of music's most versatile and talented artists.
In this "Reconnect" webisode we talk about the new Styx release "Crash Of The Crown" and how this epic jam came together for the band. Tommy also reflects on his musical legacy, touring (we have a New Jersey date!) and how the band has truly become a pop culture phenomenon. Tommy is a big dog lover too and the end of our Zoom session got taken over by our pups Penelope (Penny Lane) Shaw and my pup Rosie Carr.
The new record is a masterful journey that goes back to the roots of the band and highlights their brilliant musicianship. Put it on your summer list and crank it LOUD!
Thanks Tommy (and Penelope) .....what a great hang!
Check out the new tune below......We will continue to bring you the ROCK! TC
