Foo Fighters Release Video for Cover of ‘You Should Be Dancing’
Foo Fighters still have disco fever as evident with the release of their new music video for their cover of the Bee Gees’ “You Should Be Dancing.”
Embedded below, the performance video was billed under the pseudonym the “Dee Gees,” which is what the band is going by with their July 17 Record Story Day release.
The album, titled Hail Satin, comes out on the second of two Record Store Day “Drop” days. The Dee Gees made their debut in February when the Foo Fighters first covered “You Should Be Dancing” as part of an appearance on Jo Wiley’s BBC Radio 2 Sofa Session.
Side A of Hail Satin is comprised of covers which include “You Should Be Dancing,” “Night Fever,” “Tragedy,” “Shadow Dancing” and “More Than a Woman.”
Side B of Hail Satin finds the Foos highlighting their latest album, Medicine At Midnight, with live renditions of “Making A Fire,” “Shame Shame,” “Waiting on a War,” “No Son of Mine” and “Cloudspotter.”
