This morning, Jim Monaghan speaks with Denise Kay (sister of the late Curtis Kay) and Xenia Ferencevych from the Commnunity FoodBank of New Jeresy on the WDHA’s Jersey Magazine.

Denise Kay is the sister of the late Curtis Kay, who passed away in June 2019 after battling cancer for more than three years. Denise joins Jim Monaghan to talk about Curt’s life and legacy, and to give details on a charity event coming up on October 2 in Curt’s memory.

Prelude To A Cure presents Rock Out Lung Cancer 2021 at the Grand Wilshire in West Orange with live music, raffles, and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit lung cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Each year, DHA and the CFBNJ join together for Students Change Hunger. COACH SHEETS’ RIDE INJeremy Sheetinger is the head baseball coach at Georgia Gwinnett College where he led the Grizz Gang to the 2021 NAIA National Championship. His weekly “fire me up” tweet every Thursday may, on the surface, be geared toward his fellow baseball coaches, but his motivational message can easily be applied to the classroom, workplace, and your personal relationships. This week’s message is of a spiritual nature, looking at the various things – both good and bad – that happen to us.
