Greta Van Fleet Lampoon MasterClass With Own ‘Courses’
Greta Van Fleet…has…JOKES!
The Michigan-based band has released parody MasterClass videos to their YouTube channel under four different aliases:
– Josh Kiszka plays Dr. J.M.K who teaches “Spiritual Psychology”
-Jake Kiszka plays Oliver Reed who teaches “Decorum and Refinement”
-Sam Kiszka plays Cal A. Bungah who teaches “The Art of Plant-Based Cooking”
-Danny Wagner plays Chip Bunker who teaches “The Art of Golf”
Each clip features funny review quotes like “Dr. J.M.K. looks like he did weed exactly once…” attributed to Pitchfork’s Jeremy Larson, whose now-infamous review of their 2018 album Anthem of the Peaceful Army began with, “Greta Van Fleet sound like they did weed exactly once, called the cops, and tried to record a Led Zeppelin album before they arrested themselves.”
The band did make sure to include in the description area on each video, “Greta Van Fleet is not affiliated with Masterclass. This is just pure mischief.”
You can watch all four videos below. (WARNING: Some NSFW language ahead)
