Foo Fighters Release New Video for ‘Love Dies Young’ Starring Jason Sudeikis
Foo Fighters are at it again with a delightfully bizarre new music video for their single “Love Dies Young” that stars Jason Sudeikis.
Sudeikis plays a Bela Karolyi-esque coach of a women’s synchronized swimming team about to complete in some sort of Olympic-type competition. However, thanks to some not-so-great deep fake technology, the synchronized swimmers are actually the Foo Fighters.
Of course, no weird music video involving synchronized swimming can happen without some reference to Caddyshack, which is where guitarist Pat Smear comes into play at the end of the 7:33 video.
To the shock of probably no one, the video was written and directed by Dave Grohl, hence to whimsical weirdness.
WARNING: Some fecal and vomit-based humor ahead.
