Jersey Magazine 2-20-22
Each week on the Jersey Magazine we pick topics of local interest to our listeners.
Jim Monaghan‘s guest this morning is Amy Nolan who was on with us back in mid-January and has some VERY special news to share!
Back on January 16, Eatontown’s Amy Nolan joined Jim Monaghan to talk about being nominated for the Ford Football Hall of Fans for 2022. A lifelong Giants fan, Amy had quite the thrill when she met former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan who surprised her with the news that she nominated. Additionally, Amy is the Executive Director of Development for the American Cancer Society. In that role, Amy raises money for the American Cancer Society and participates in the Relay For Life walk in memory of her dad, who passed away from cancer in 2006. This year’s event is being held June 11.
This week on Rock N’ Ruff, we present Romeo from Randolph Regional Animal Shelter. He’s a shelter favorite of our friend Sunny Nowell who runs the shelter and he is so handsome! .
COACH SHEETS’ RIDE IN – Jeremy Sheetinger is the head baseball coach at Georgia Gwinnett College where he led the Grizz Gang to the 2021 NAIA National Championship. His weekly “fire me up” tweet every Thursday may, on the surface, be geared toward his fellow baseball coaches, but his motivational message can easily be applied to the classroom, workplace, and your personal relationships. This week, Coach Sheets talks about the difference between pressure and expectations. Both can have a big effect on performance.

Pressure vs Expectations
And there is a clear difference!
Eliminate the weight of pressure in performance/leadership, take off that badge of honor…
Instead, dream of expectations! Plan for success & adjustments!
