Jersey Magazine 3-13-22
Each week on the Jersey Magazine we pick topics of local interest to our listeners.
Jim Monaghan‘s guests this morning once again center around March being Women’s History Month.
Terrie Carr and Emma Spagnuolo are at different ends of their respective broadcasting careers. Terrie is WDHA’s program director and midday host; Emma is the Assistant Creative Services Director and a member of the weekend air staff. Both bring an energy and vibrant creativity to their jobs which has a direct effect on what you hear on the radio.
Jim talked with TC and Emma about how their radio journeys started, other women who have been influential on them, and the role of women in rock music.
This week on Rock N’ Ruff, we bring you Trinity from Northstar Pet Rescue. Trinity is a two-year old border collie mix who was rescued from Texas and is waiting for someone to bring this amazing pup home. Trinity loves going for walks and binge watching TV!
COACH SHEETS’ RIDE IN – Jeremy Sheetinger is the head baseball coach at Georgia Gwinnett College where he led the Grizz Gang to the 2021 NAIA National Championship. His weekly “fire me up” tweet every Thursday may, on the surface, be geared toward his fellow baseball coaches, but his motivational message can easily be applied to the classroom, workplace, and your personal relationships. This week, Coach Sheets speaks to the importance of remembering that you are leading individuals before you try to lead a team.
