WDHA’s Rock N’ Ruff with Rodney The Rottie from AHS in Newark
TC here and for those of you that attended our WDHA/Dover Dodge Dog Days Of May event, I’m sure you remember meeting Rodney The Rottweiler! Rodney was a show stealer with his GORGEOUS good looks and gentle, friendly nature. I was shocked when he did not get adopted! Perhaps it’s his large size, but man, this guy is such a Rockstar Rottie!
Rodney loves meeting people, he’s gentle with all and really loves making dog friends. He is very patient and respectful with dogs of all sizes,. Rodney was an owner surrender when his family simply couldn’t keep him anymore and ended up at Associated Humane Society Of Newark of no fault of his own. I knighted him “MVP of the Day” Most Valuable Puppy because of his temperament. If you are looking for a large dog or LOVE the Rottweiler breed please set up a time to meet Rodney. He is described by the shelter as ;
Rodney is 7 years young.
This incredible boy was surrendered when his family moved and couldn’t take him along.
He is a gentle giant who is a pleasure to walk.
He is a happy and playful pup.
He sits and takes treats gently.
He likes his wet dog food all to himself.
His little nub tail won’t stop wagging when he sees other dogs.
He has met several dogs and has done great.
He is a very sweet and loving dog.
Bring your older kids and dogs down for a meet and see if it’s a match.
