Local Hero Alert! Woman Saves Customer From Choking At Randolph Sandwich Shop

Our community ROCKS! And WDHA wants to take a moment to recognize Danielle Bucelli who works at PrimoHoagies in Rockaway New Jersey for going above and beyond being a great sandwich maker and loyal employee.

According to News 12 New Jersey- Danielle noticed a woman choking and  after asking "Are You OK"? When the woman didn't answer, Danielle sprung into action performing the Heimlich maneuver on the woman and saving the day. The customer kept repeating "You saved my life"! - Danielle is a member of the Randolph Fire Department, certified in CPR and ready for anything!

Danielle was also rewarded with a $1000 bonus by her employer and the owner of PrimoHoagies is thinking about getting more staff trained in CPR after seeing the  impact this Hogi Heroine made on the life of a customer.
