The BEST Ice Cream For You And Your DOG! Right In Morristown (and raising money for a good cause too!)
TC here, always giving the “scoop” on awesomeness in our community. And especially if it involves ice cream, dogs and rescue!
Located at 38 Morris Street in Morristown, Beenie’s Ice Cream is the BEST! Known for making their own homemade base, they have 38 amazing, homemade flavors, (including Birthday Cake, Cookie Monster, Midnight Snack and Glazed Donut) Beenie’s also offers delicious dairy free options which include incredible sorbet’s. Their cakes and delivery service are fantastic too!
Named after the beloved family dog and owned by Tony and his wife Andrea (Tony is a drummer too!), T&A make the ice cream together everyday and decided that ice cream for dogs would be a special way to not only honor Beenie but also give us humans a great excuse to eat more ice cream with our best buds! Ice Cream For Dogs was born and had a mission.
Beenie’s is donating 100% of the proceeds from their Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Banana and Bacon flavors to our friends at Eleventh Hour Rescue in Randolph, served in pre-packaged mini containers in store, online and on Door Dash.
Beenie’s wants the experience of Ice Cream with our dogs to be an awesome one and have installed a new artificial grass carpet in their indoor/outdoor seating area and keep in mind “Per Town of Morristown health code, only service dogs are allowed inside the shop”. – They are looking to add more outdoor conveniences so please check their website and Facebook page for updates!
I absolutely love the idea of Ice Cream for us, Ice Cream for our dogs and a give back for Eleventh Hour Rescue who does so much for homeless animals.
As Tony the owner told me…….the sign in the shop inspired by their dog Beenie sums it up best…..
“Beenie, the family dog and our mascot, serves as a reminder to not take life too seriously, and to enjoy the simple things like dogs and ice cream”.
