Florida Man Finds Unique Use For A Stapler

Florida Man Patrick Abbott is no stranger to difficulties with the law. Just last month he was arrested on felony charges.
Out on bail over the weekend, Abbott proceeded to head into a Publix supermarket where he handed a note to a woman behind the counter that said he wanted all the money in the register and, oh by the way, “I have a gun with me.”
The store clerk excused herself saying that she needed to help a co-worker, and went to get help.
Maybe Abbott got spooked…maybe he got tired of waiting. Either way, he left only to be apprehended a few blocks away.
When police searched Abbott the only weapon they could find was a black stapler.
Florida Man might have been better off using his finger in his pocket as a gun.
