Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. I don’t know how. I don’t really know what happened in January, but somehow we’re entering February and that special someone in your life is going to be expecting a gift.

If you haven’t planned anything yet, you should definitely start now, or you may wind up with a disappointed partner.

A YouGov poll recently released data that nearly 50% of women say they’ve been disappointed by a romantic partner who didn’t do enough for Valentine’s Day. As for men?  Only 23% felt the same way.

Now, my wife and I say each year that we should save our money and not celebrate the holiday. But after reading about this poll, I’m wondering if maybe she might not be voicing her completely honest opinion of the situation.

Maybe she is just saying that and DOES really want me to get her something or take her out???  I’m thinking this year I may need to step it up.

Women between the ages of 35 and 54 were the most likely to say that they’d been let down on Valentine’s Day, with 57% saying they’d been disappointed.

Here’s a look at the stats.  Maybe you’ll want to go out and get her something nice after all!
