Florida Man Steals Car For Unique Purpose

Someone stealing a car is not new. It happens every day all across the country.
But leave it to Florida Man to put a whole new spin on it.
Last February, Olatuji Okuboye of Clearwater rented a 2019 Nissan Sentra from Avis Rent-A-Car. He was supposed to return the car on March 2, 2022.
Okuboye wanted to use the car to make Door Dash deliveries and apparently the Nissan gets better gas mileage than his own vehicle.
Well, it seems that no one at Avis realized the car hadn’t been turned in until last week and that’s when they finally reported it stolen.
Appropriately enough, Okuboye was online at a Clearwater Chick-fil-A drive-through when Pinella County police ran the California plates on the vehicle and receive the report that it was stolen.
Wonder if that person ever got their chicken nuggets?
