Not Even Prison Bars Can Slow Down Florida Man’s “Business”
DATELINE – well…kind of all over the place
Florida Man Reinaldo Colon had quite the business operation going – and all while in jail.
Try to keep up here.
Colon was in prison in Atlanta where he somehow managed to smuggle a cellphone in. During the summer of 2021, Colon used the phone to arrange cocaine shipments to two Connecticut residents. From there, Colon’s associates would further distribute the cocaine through various other source.
Meanwhile, eight years ago, Colon had been sentenced in the District of Puerto Rice for his role in an organization that moved drugs through Puerto Rico and Florida.
Colon was sentenced earlier this week in a Connecticut courtroom to six and a half years in prison, which is to be followed by eight years of “supervised release” according to the court documents.
Needless to say, based upon Colon’s prior activity, we suggest he be VERY closely supervised.
