Celebrity Chef Opens 9th N.J. Restaurant
Celebrity chef David Burke has opened his ninth restaurant in New Jersey. The Fox & Falcon by David Burke opened at 19 Valley Rd. in South Orange on Feb. 24. The Fox & Falcon is located right by the NJ Transit train station.
Burke is not unfamiliar with the area as he previously operated David Burke at Orange Lawn in South Orange.
“We are very excited to be back in town and are happy to see many familiar faces again at The Fox & Falcon,” Chef Burke said per NJ Advance Media. “We’ve already revamped the menu and have some fun plans ahead that I know will be a hit in this lively community.”
The restaurant has multiple levels, several dining rooms, and four bars.
Its menu is expansive as it offers salads, burgers, mac & cheese, and specialty items such lobster dumplings, and much more. Their dessert menu features a spiced chocolate pot de creme, apple crostata and sticky toffee pudding.
The Fox & Falcon is opens from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday; 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. The Fox & Falcon is not just a dinner or lunch spot as it also offers brunch on Saturdays 12-3pm and Sundays 11-3pm.
Burke has restaurants in East Brunswick, Fort Lee, Keansburg, Morristown, Rumson, Sea Bright, South Orange, Union Beach, and West New York.
