It’s All Hands On Deck For Florida Man
DATELINE – Jacksonville FL
A little background here –
The USS Orleck is a World War II-era destroyer. Built in 1945, it saw service into the 1980’s, and is now the home of the Jacksonville Naval Museum.
Jacksonville is in Duval County, home of…among other things…the famous “DUUUU-VALLLL” chant.
Now, add Florida Man into the mix.
Jacksonville police were called to rescue a guy who had been swinging from the mooring ropes of the Orleck and either fell or jumped into the river.
No matter how it happened, there was Florida Man floating in the St. John’s River.
And what was he doing while in the water waiting to be rescued?
