I’m very thankful that I’m married. I think my wife is awesome and I’m terrible at dating. When you’re single and looking for love, the dating scene can be tough. This goes for both men and women.

We never know what the opposite sex wants. Well, we’ve heard about size mattering to the ladies, and it seems that it also matters to some guys. A man in Minnesota is trying to get an edge on the dating scene. He’s lengthening his legs to make himself taller!

41-year-old Moses Gibson says he can’t seem to find a girl and hasn’t for quite some time – he believes it’s because of his height. He’s just 5-foot-5.

Moses previously tried everything to make himself a bit taller. He bought pills online and was even told by a spiritual healer that he could make himself taller by putting his mind to it.

Finally, he decided to undergo a very painful and quite expensive surgery where doctors broke his tibia and fibula bones and screwed in magnetic, limb-lengthening nails. If you’re wondering just how expensive this surgery was…….how about a whopping $75,000!! It did add 3 inches to his height, so …there’s that.

But here’s the thing. He Still wasn’t satisfied. He wanted to be even taller. So, that’s right – he spent more money and had a second procedure.

According to the New York Post, this one added another two inches and cost another $98,000. Look, if you have the money, I guess it’s not crazy. But for most, I would say these are extreme measures.

Who cares if you’re 5’5”?  If you have a good personality, are a good guy, and can maybe tell a joke or two, there’s most likely a woman out there for you. At least, I think.

So, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done to try to win over the opposite sex?  And did it cost roughly One hundred and Seventy-five thousand dollars??!!  Geesh, I hope not.

Rock and roll has taught the world many lessons. Perhaps one of its most underrated is this: You don't have to be tall to be a giant rock star.

In fact, some of the biggest names in rock history could be classified as "short kings."

What's a "short king" you may ask? First coined by comedian/writer Jaboukie Young-White, a short king is a slang term of endearment for a man who is under 5'9", according to Urban Dictionary.
