#1. WDHA’s Rock The Rockfest themed Double Play Dorothy – Dark Knights The Pretty Reckless – 2 Requested through – Facebook Request line – Scotty B wdha Requested by – The Fing Della Baby in Bellville, NJ
The Fing Della Baby tops the list at #1 with his RTRF themed Double Play. the first track was Dark Knights by Dorothy. Dorothy is a Los Angeles-based rock band that has been making waves in the music industry since their debut in 2014. The band has gained a loyal fanbase and critical acclaim for their powerful, bluesy sound and raw, emotional lyrics. One of their standout tracks is “Dark Nights,” a haunting and introspective song that explores themes of isolation, fear, and self-doubt.
The second track was 25 by The Pretty Reckless. I swear that this track should be the theme to the latest James Bond movie No time to Die. Rumor has it that it was submitted to be the theme song but Billie Elish ‘s song was selected. The guitar is playing the James bond signature sound thru the whole song from start to finish and some of the lyrics are bond quotes and movie names. Taylor Momsen says she wrote it when she turned 25 which she does reference in the song. I do not know if it was submitted but if it was I would have rather 25 be the theme to No Time to Die. Great Bond Movie! Dorothy and The Pretty Reckless will be rockin the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ Next Friday night April 28th.
