Let’s Say Goodbye To These Traditions
I like to look at the forums on Reddit. Sometimes I stumble upon silly comments that make me chuckle. Sometimes, I actually learn a cool tidbit of info. In this case, it’s all about the discussion!
One user posed this question on Ask Reddit and got a good amount of responses.

What’s a tradition that you think people should get rid of?
I could think of many different answers to this, but let’s look at a few from the users of Reddit. I think they’re pretty spot on!
- Big expensive weddings: While I liked my big expensive wedding to my wife, I get it. There’s no need to be excessive and ride in on horses after you have flown everyone out to a tropical island. Save that money and buy a house!
- Men having to make the first move: While I’m no longer in the dating game, I fully agree with this one. Ladies, you can give the guy a break sometimes. If you’re into him, make a move. If he’s like me, he might dig it and feel some anxiety lifted!
- Taking gym selfies: We get it. You’re jacked. Or you look good in your workout booty shorts. Or both. Either way, focus on your workout and put the cell phone down!
- Tipping: This one I am fully on board with. Can we please do away with tipping? At restaurants, the barber shop/salon, at the bar, delivery men/women. I mean look, wouldn’t you much rather pay a higher cost for your meal or haircut and be done with it, instead of having to determine what’s the right amount of “extra money” to leave the person that was helping you or providing the service? It’s a little ridiculous that restaurant servers and others basically live off what you decide to leave them based on their performance!!!
Here Are The Weirdest Things People Leave Behind In An Uber
Mike is all about having fun each afternoon. He brings you concert tickets, some fun trivia, and of course the best bands. Other interests outside of being at WDHA are drums, movies, and my family. Also, like most radio personalities, he loves live music. There's nothing like a live show to hype him up! His all-time favorite band is Metallica. But according to him, the list of others is pretty lengthy.
