Florida Man’s Choice of Disguise Isn’t Enough To Keep Him Out of Jail

DISCLAIMER – we don’t suggest that you commit a crime of any kind. But that said….

If you’re going to commit a crime, it might be a good idea to have a disguise.

Florida Man‘s choice of disguise over the weekend was, to be kind, less than functional.

It seems this guy put a cardboard box over his head at 4 AM in an attempt to conceal his identity as he smashed a glass display case in a cellphone store allowing him to steal 19 cellphones, plus about $8000 in cash.

  • PROBLEM #1 – he didn’t put eye holes in the box so he had difficulty seeing what he was doing.
  • PROBLEM #2 – he took the box off briefly, allowing the security camera to get a REALLY good look at him.
  • PROBLEM #3 – he hung around for HOURS after committing the crime which allowed the store owner and police to find him pretty easily.
