WTF! Florida Man Discovers Shrinking Body Parts After Spending Too Much Time In the Water
DATELINE – Key Largo FL
Back on May 19, we introduced you to Florida Man Joe Dituri (if you missed that one, you can find it here) who was living underwater off the coast of Florida.
Dituri is a professor at the University of South Florida and he’s conducting an experiment to learn how the human body functions in extreme environments, like at the bottom of a 30-foot lagoon in Key Largo.
On Friday June 9, Dituri will hit the 100 day mark at which point he is expected to come back up for air.
We all know that spending too much time in the water causes your fingers and toes to shrivel up. But Florida Man has made another water-related discovery.
Among the changes he’s noticed in his body – he has shrunk as much as half an inch in height. Plus his cholesterol is lower!
Dituri says the thing he has missed the most over these past 99 days has been the sun. We haven’t seen much of the sun here in New Jersey lately, but that’s for completely different reasons.
And if the good professor is experiencing shrinkage anywhere else on his body, we hear there’s a pill for that.
