You’re probably familiar with the various slogans used by Captain Morgan rum over the years.

  Captain Morgan. Enjoy the contradiction.

Well, it seems as if Florida Man wanted to get a little of the Captain in his life.

So he stole Captain Morgan.

This happened a couple of weeks ago at The Lighthouse in Englewood FL where security footage shows Florida Man – along with his “accomplice” (his dog sitting in the front seat) – loading a large Captain Morgan into the back of his pickup truck.

What the poor dog has to do with this is beyond our comprehension. He probably thought he was just going for a ride.

He never expected to be referenced in the police report.

And what, exactly, is Florida Man planning to do with the good captain? It’s not as if he can display it on his front lawn.
