Florida Man Meets Jaws – Two Seconds That Must Have Felt Like A Lifetime

DATELINE – the Florida Everglades

When you think of the Everglades, images of snakes and alligators probably immediately come to mind.

Well now there’s another reason for caution – we’re talking sharks, baby!

Consider the saga of Florida Man Nick who was fishing in the Everglades in a boat with some friends.

Nick decided to rinse his hands off in the water despite being admonished by a friend, “I wouldn’t put your hands in there.”

Nick’s response? “Two seconds won’t do anything.”

The shark that came up out of the water and grabbed Nick by the hand had other ideas.

Like “Lunch is served!”

Nick was pulled overboard and a mad scramble ensued to get him away from the shark’s bite.

The video of the whole thing is pretty wild.

 

By the way, a VERY lucky Nick was treated for his injuries at the Flamingo Marina before heading to a local hospital for additional treatment.
