Howard Freeman From The NJ Lottery Festival Of Ballooning Checks In With TC- What To Know Before You Go
Howard Freeman from The NJ Lottery Festival Of Ballooning checked in and gave me the FULL SCOOP on this year’s festival weekend which is this COMING weekend Friday 7/28, Saturday 7/29 and Sunday 7/30 at Solberg Airport in Readington New Jersey! It’s the 40th anniversary of the festival and there are so many things for the whole family to do.
In addition to the best hot air balloons from around the world including,
* a 65-foot-tall, 750-pound bright pink Lucky Pig from the New Jersey Lottery
* a 70-foot-tall replica of the very first hot air balloon flight complete with a sheep, a duck and a rooster (the first hot air balloon passengers)
* a pair of 110-foot-tall bumblebees who hold hands and kiss in mid-flight
* an 86-foot-tall Darth Vader and a 62-foot-tall Yoda (approved by Lucasfilm)
* an 80-foot-tall old fashioned alarm clock with 30-foot-wide hands
* a 100-foot-tall snowbird penguin
And more- there is incredible live entertainment for the entire family…….(Including Everclear and Lit presented by WDHA and our own Jim Monaghan’s band Dead Aire) KC and The Sunshine Band and more!
Jim broadcasts live this Friday morning from the festival before doors open beginning at 6a.
