When Florida Man Takes His Show On the Road, He REALLY Means It!
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Middletown IN
When Florida Man takes his show on the road, he literally takes his act on the road! A Florida man was arrested after leading the Middletown, Indiana police department on a high-speed chase.
But not just any high-speed chase. It appears that Florida Man was driving one of those Google street view cars, the ones that have 360-degree cameras on top.
Ever look up your address on Google? Oh, yeah, that’s my street. And you can spin around and see the entire neighborhood. Well, it’s done with one of those cars. They’re really cool if you’ve ever seen one.
Well, at any rate, the police noticed this vehicle speeding past a high school. So what do they do? Of course, they go after it. That’s when they realized that it was a Google mapping car. They noticed that because of the several 360-degree cameras that were on top of the car.
So one of the officers pursues the vehicle as it continues to speed up and over 100 miles an hour. According to a release from the police department, the Google car refused to stop. Well, part of the reason was the driver told the cops after he’d been arrested – the driver is still unidentified, by the way – he was afraid to stop. He said he was too scared to stop.
At any rate, he eventually lost control of the car, drove through a yard, then into a creek where it became stuck.
So if you live in Middletown, Indiana, or you know anyone who does, and you look up your home on Google Street View, if it’s a little blurry, you know why.
